Our Story

Established in 1995, Waikouaiti Auto & Engineering (WAE) has grown from three employees to over 80 staff and an engineering business offering a wide range of services from three locations – Waikouaiti, Dunedin and Palmerston.

Servicing the public, big corporates, local farmers, and small companies in the Otago region, WAE offers a wide range of engineering services including plant maintenance, inspections, and repairs. We have a modern fleet of eight cranes for hire, with a 24/7 service.

WAE offers a mechanical workshop and is MTA approved for WoFs, servicing, and automotive repairs. Health and Safety is a big part of our focus and we are committed to operating to the latest in health and safety standards.
